Imagine hating something that just makes you richer over time, backed by logic, math, game theory, cryptography, and physics.

Imagine all the people...

I'd love that thing which helps us all at #Winning in #Life with #Bitcoin and #Nostr

Almost like people are easily manipulated

It’s because somehow the worst thing in the world is admitting to being wrong in the past and changing your mind.

Ok, let me propose an opposing viewpoint just because.

Bitcoin has no guarantee of future results, it has massive volatility, backed by logic, whose logic Austrian goldbugs?, math, what math, game theory is irrelevant because a hoarded asset is pointless, and a circulated money is constantly accessible, Cryptography, why not like Zcash that uses Equihash, and Zk-Snarks to protect user privacy, and physics, you mean mining, which a fair portion of PoW cryptos have?

The people who "hate" Bitcoin, either do not understand it, or are jealous of those who got in "early", very few of the high ranking delusional might try to use the environment as a cope but we can dismiss them because for the rest of us who are sane will eventually realize the value of cryptographic currencies.

And those who attack bitcoin from the crypto communities, typically understand bitcoin but see some flaws, and issues with it, and are willing to accept different trade-offs to address the things they don't like.

"hoarded asset is pointless"

What? Every asset is held by someone 100% od the time. Why that's pointless? Why holding Bitcoin is pointless? 🤔

Markets require both supply, and demand.

If there's no supply then a market can't be made.

If everyone HODLs bitcoin then there will be no supply to provide for demand, if someone sells Bitcoin to satisfy this demand then he wouldn't be a "HODL'er".

Given enough time without a market people would seek another market where supply could be acquired eventually leading to less buyers, and more sellers of Bitcoin.

And further more the value of Bitcoin can only be true once realized, if you don't sell then you're only hypothetically worth that much.

And depends if you're in the fiat or bitcoin Denomination camp.

Bitcoin can only become a valuable money if people use it for goods, and services.

So either way you're either stuck with something that's hypothetically worth a lot of fiat, or you're stuck with something you can use but you're not HODL'ing.

Spending / Circulating Bitcoin is what gives Bitcoin value.

"Bitcoin has no guarantee of future results"

Is the anything in the world which has more guarantee of future results than Bitcoin? 🤔

I mean gold, and Nvidia.

But to be fair, like I said Bitcoin does appreciate drastically.

But the issue is where is Bitcoin's appreciation coming from, speculation, greater fool theory, or fundamental principles?

It is fair to say that a significant portion of people buying Bitcoin don't actually understand Bitcoin, they're probably buying it through coinbase, and keeping it on the exchange, or through regulated investment vehicles like ibit, and only want exposure to appreciation but not downside risks, or loss like a person who uses Self-Custody would.

So Bitcoin's value is being artificially increased over its true value, which I believe is slightly below its current price.

I believe bitcoin is valuable but I believe it is over-valued, and has been for quite a while, HODL culture hurts Bitcoin because it makes Bitcoin less accessible for low income individuals who need Bitcoin the most, and who Bitcoin was intended to free.

But now with the current culture Bitcoin has simply become another investment for Wall Street Bankers while the common person continues to struggle.

plus its so good with a little butter 🌽🧈

Imagine cognitive dissonance in high level used to kill the freedom idea.

Imagine that globalists are spying on NOSTR every byte!

Imagine with end of local wars the BTC price will go to MOON.

Imagine the poetry of life.

HODL HODL HODL

Bitcoin is built different

Imagine still going through life and having Bitcoin in the back of your mind for the past 7 or 8 years and still not knowing anything about it

Or backed by group think?

Every time Bitcoin hits a new high, there are always people around who will impulsively buy all their savings into Bitcoin. Most people who do this cannot hold on to Bitcoin because the volatility and losses after the new high will bring them tremendous pressure. They will sell Bitcoin at a loss and then say, "Bitcoin is a scam."

If you only take out a portion of your savings to store #Bitcoin , you can hold on to it for longer.

“But the newspaper told me to…”

Probably not someone you can have an interesting conversation with anyways

That's literally my cousin, atm.

I can't imagine i love it

Pay Bitcoin to pay for pizza or else jist stack it . Don’t spend it 😁

This is why I like my bitcoin peeps

I’ve found most people are either completely indifferent to it or genuinely despise it.

This is still the prevailing sentiment *over there*.

We hate what we don’t understand.

Maybe , because we afraid what we don’t know .

what is the most advanced cryptography out there ? 256 ?
