#Nostr is pretty fucking easy to use. Idk what so many people complain about. You download an app and post stuff. You figure out the rest from there as you go, same as any other new “social media” that comes out.

True, if someone isn’t here it would certainly be hard to find them 😂 Best you can do is ask them on the platforms where they are to come to Nostr, or find a way to pull their content into Nostr via some kind of bridge or cross-posting mechanism.

Where do I enter my email address? What's my password? Oh shit, I forgot it already. Who's the CEO? How can I call tech support? Why does everyone misspell "Sit" so much and want to send each other "sats". People have been trained like Pavlov's dog to have the brains of toddlers and rely on someone else to answer their problems for them. It's going to take a while.

People are brainwashed to have to login. Nostr has no login and their bodies are just not used to the freedom. It’s not their fault. We just need to wash people back.

Once you've set it up it's easy to sue but I literally can't convince anyone to join after I tell them Nostr is actually not the app, they don't want to understand why a protocol is, let alone how to store their keys.. its a new paradigm and def can't be compared to old ones imo

New users must be use to huge platforms like X, Instagram, Reddit, FB, etc where there is a million things to look up and easily find. We have GM, GN, BTC, and our friends here.

The concept of relays is new to everyone, so that's a first step they need to get acquainted with. Also the fact that they need to save their nsec somewhere safe and that they can't change it. Yes, the overall concepts of posts and followers are the same, but those are not the main onboarding components.
