The way you opt out is you only trade your time for Bitcoin. I don't see any social security taxes in my Bitcoin transactions only miner fees.

Provide a service -> get paid

Be a parasite -> get cut out

Can it work without ever more young people at the base of the pyramid?

If it can't, it is a ponzi.

I believe this to be the case.

I don't know, I spoke with an NPC yesterday who wanted to make extra contributions 🤪😂

There's a name for people like this: Suckers.

Yeah, he was a know it all too, what can you do.

I can stack sats. I don't know what he can do once Social Security runs out of money.

He could also, but he is a no coiner. He will HFSP.

Of course he's a nocoiner. Anyone who still thinks Social Security will be there for them in 10 years does not cannot see the double-spending problem the Social Security Ponzi implies.

If he can't see the double-spending problem, asking him to stack sats is lime asking a blind man to describe the Mona Lisa's smile.

This guy doesn't math either, wants to pay extra his 3% mortgage down 🫣

I spend a little extra on my mortgage every month too. I know I'm better off stacking more sats, but I don't like debt.

If I was single, I would live in a van, but some things are more important than money, like family.

Being debt free is part of the Bitcoin experience. It certainly makes sense at a certain point.

so much yup

Redistribution makes perfect sense on all metrics. But, this is where the common people can't grasp the difference between Macro and Micro economics.

The trickle down effect does NOT exist!

Steve Jobs and Bill Gates would have sold bananas if the were born in the Philippines or India due to the demand for PC's.

But, they were born in a place with a marginal tax between 80-95% between the 40's and the 80's.

I am not for taxes and I would any day choose Thailand over US. But redistribution has proven it's effect many times (EU and US are just a few examples). Somalia is a good example of the opposite.
