One of the things that drew me to the Ray Peat space is that it contained thousands of very sick people who, after being failed by conventional medicine, were able to recover their health and vitality using Ray's principles.

I much prefer the advice and experience of people who actually recovered from serious chronic health problems to that of healthfluencer bros who've never faced life threatening ailments.

His work rings true to me. I don't think his work is complete but it is a launching point. His work points in the right direction.

No one has had greater knowledge of what is true, and more importantly what is false, in biology and medicine, than Ray.

Great resource! Fun rabbit hole!

Fun and life saving !

Everyone will eventually have to embrace his ideas because he was right.

He was pretty wrong on exercise (and on his communist ideas) but an incredibly smart man

Absolutely true. His writings and principles saved me a decade ago when I faced an important health issue and fiat doctors kept telling me "you are okay".

He taught me how experience was superior to theory and to be sovereign of my own health and recovery process.

And the OG anti seed oil and circadian maxi.

A lot of what the healthfluencer bros parrot rings true, Ray did the research around the dangers of unsaturated fats as early as the 60s.

I liked that he was just expressing his logic & opinion. He felt authentic when everyone else seemed focused on monetizing the next diet fad.

I didn't accept all his theories but I think many were right on the money.
