Your not from a small town huh. Lol

i think you should always love the place where God made your birthplace

i've never been to my birth town since i was born but i hate every other place i ever lived until I left australia. Then I fell in love with Sofia.

But honestly, the place I love the most is everywhere that people aren't.

I hate my hometown, did everything I could to get the F out of there asap..

Same! One of the best days of my life to leave that place behind! Lol

couldn’t be you, but it could be someone else.

How long do you have to live somewhere for it to be considered your home town? We moved a lot.

Depends on the place, depending on how old it is. That’s my experience

i think where your born is so important tbh, no matter how long you stayed it has meaning

😬 technically I was born next door in a city I don’t like. I still like the only town I’ve ever lived outside of. Though less and less the closer it gets to being a city.

🎯

I do. Can't stand to go back and haven't in years. It's a sad place with no opportunity. The people who stay there are meth/opiate addicted. No jobs, no future, no hope. I was very lucky to get out.

My hometown decided they needed to be assholes.

You don’t know the experiences of others. Be happy that you associate your hometown with positive experiences, and it was a place where you felt supported and nurtured.

true that apa.
