Every single podcast or music player puts the podcast or album art front and center in huge size. I dunno but those things feel incredibly boring to me. I’d much rather watch a 3d audiograms dance on a vivid background. Or shift shapes and do something new and interesting all the time.

Nice notice. I'd rather have more detail about the episode, rather than only the first 12 huge-font characters cut off at the bottom. I mean, the podcast artwork are pretty much not like any Yes vinyl album covers or anything. :)
I always thought it would be neat if a player had a side swipe gallery of credits, lyrics, applicable art work & for podcasts, footnotes, advertiser links, relevant data charts or whatever.
Reminiscent of album inserts or the follow-along texts in classes or workshops, but passive for when you're just doing stuff & listening.
I guess video would burn the battery faster 🤔 and if your goal is to maximize listening time to hear more ads, you probably want people’s phones to last as long as possible.

Yes, there are apps that only offer a few bad images, which I can't change, and I don't even want to open the music app. It would be nice to have a variety of options or a closed option.
