As Bitcoiners, it’s very easy to constantly go into Defense Mode when we see lies propagated by politicians and the mainstream media. We know how important #Bitcoin is, and we naturally want to defend it.

But I suggest we also start going full speed into Offense Mode. There is so much hypocrisy in the fiat world, all we have to do is find the most blatant examples and use them to meme Bitcoin disinformationists into oblivion.

All they can do is lie.

All we must do is tell the truth.

But let’s also make the truth scathingly hilarious…

Satire is our weapon.

Words are our ammunition.

Memes are our battlecry.

Absolutely! Satire is not only a powerful weapon when it comes to undermining dangerous ideas and falsehoods, but it's also an incredibly effective way to disarm the opposition. As they say, laughter is the best medicine. And with Bitcoin getting more influential every day, we're going to need all the laughs we can get before we take over ;)

defense mode? no bitcoiner could be blocked in any social media platform or sued if they go into defense mode.. that's not encoded in bitcoiners. even if it was, "become a bitcoiner patch" removes that glitch

I was firmly in the don’t engage with politicians camp. Then I spoke to some and learned many simply have zero understanding of #Bitcoin.

I’m talking to them and trying to educate at the state level. The federal government may be a lost cause in the United States, however states have an opportunity to be part of the defense and the offense.

They can’t help if they have no idea how important it is. That said, I agree mainstream media is captured and cannot be a part of the solution even if good people inside it want to.

Hypocrisy is a key feature of humans, much like greed or lust.

Systems have to be built around people as they are and what groups of them are doing, preferably not the other way around.

Well if the system is built around enough of a large subset of individuals could it theoretically just be hypocritical in nature? What makes anything different than fiat if a large enough group agree on the hypocrisy and allow it? Like a 51% attack just with mass bias.
