We have to enjoy it while we can, and preserve it as long as possible.
We can probably maintain it indefinitely with a custom feed, npubs active before x date. I proposed that it be called Eternal August.

i enjoy so much this beautiful, temporary era in nostr history. but also, think how easy it is to just make a btc pleb nip42 authd relay, and load that into a client and boom youve got what you like forever...the party never ends. ive realized the beauty of nostr is that making the community you like can be done so easily in several different ways, and eventually will get done when necessary.
That's a great point. If we all manage our own WoT metrics we all determine our own level of engagement with the broader network.
I hadn't thought of npub age as a WoT metric before, but it's actually brilliant.
I'd like to make it so I only see npubs that are less than 2 months old if they zap me or if someone I am following boosts or tags them.
Over time the requirements will get steeper. (1 year npub plus 400 followers and within 2 hops from my follow list)
