Nuance is an art. Understanding is an art. Like any medium, their meaning is lost on those who don't share the memory, dream, or observation of the creator. I spend a lot of time alone. Nothing feels more freeing than navigating my thoughts, unencumbered by the need to be understood. And often, the need to understand. I am grateful for the people in my life who get it. Months of silence are worth a moment of the symbiotic magic that happens when two people understand eachother. I'm reminded of this every time I try to have a conversation with someone who's not on my wave 😅
