After following the kneesovertoesguy protocol I have completely revamped my knees & lower body. Guy is an absolute legend.

Finally healthy enough to run again without fear.

Anyone here into running? #runstr

Not into running but into sports, started doing some of his exercises for PT on my ACL... So far so good

ACL surgery for me too, this guy saved me.

Using the sled both forwards and backwards is a must, it's my new religion 😆🫡

I sled backwards for every workout as a warmup

Fuck yeah,

Have you tried to do the Nordic/hamstring curls yet?

Nah, but I'll look into it... Another random question, how long post op were you able to return to sporting activities?

I wasn't doing the ATG stuff, but I started hitting tennis balls after a followup session with the surgeon & he told me to.

I'm not sure exactly how long post op, but definitely some months.

As far as actually being comfortable maybe 10months, but then I had some inflammation popup later from lack of muscular build.

Found ATG maybe 2years in and thats been my religion for the last 8months, I don't think about my knee at all anymore when I'm doing shit.

I play pickleball 1v1 with zero issues, same with tennis.

I avoid regular deep squats,

I only do his Split Squat.

Sledding, Tib bar, Nordic Curls, Poliquin Step down,

I never miss those,

And I started now building my glutes with the same workouts all these girls use (I follow my girls lead for this but mostly that hip thrust shit), bc the glutes are directly connected to knee health.

Good sh!t, I'll be looking these up and incorporating

Dude yes!! Kneesovertoesguy absolutely rules. ATG squat progression program is legendary status.

Yeeeeee I have completely abandoned traditional training methods at this point 🤙🫂🫡

I love running. I have ran a few half marathons. I had a meniscus tear that has finally healed after 4 months. I had to work on stabilizing muscles to help heal.

I can run again, but haven't done much, don't want to push it. I'll likely stick to biking and hiking for now. I'll have to check out this protocol.

Definitely adopt the protocol! No brainer!

lower = kneesovertoesguy

upper = stick mobility

There is no excuse to be right and achy.

🎯

I like running and do about 35k a week to have something in common with a neighbor…

Be sure to get the right type of shoes for your stride, and know that like 80% of your training is just chillin and putting in some miles.
