What’s your favorite #movie of all time and why?
Discussion
Pulp fiction. I'm not a very emotional person when it comes to movies but that movie was so captivating and such an emotional roller coaster that I was drained after I saw it. No other movie comes close.
Followed 🤙
Probably Memento, since it’s just so different by the architecture of its story
Office Space because it's funny every time I watch it.
Hard to choose a favorite.
Something that comes to mind is Crash.
It shows some of the best and worst of people, in cyclical lifestyle, as our actions are connected, in racial/tribal stereotypes, trying to live. Its very human. I tend to watch it when im skimming channels and its on.
On a just do it angle, I like Hackers and Unbroken
Barton Fink. Very reflective about the abysses of life and the means that make us travel the paths we choose.
Pulp Fiction
Why? I don't know but I've watched that movie at least 200x
Too narrow a question 🤷🏽
Way too many to just bend one. It changes with my mood. 🤷🏽
Well, then give one for each mood 🤔
Right now
🤔🤔🤔
Ask me again in an hour or two and I bet you'll get something different🤷🏽
Difficult, but one I could watch many times and enjoy is Amelie. It's funny, beautifully shot, whimsical and romantic.
Probably Blade Runner 2049. How it explored the themes of what it means to have a soul, the consequences of abusing intelligent life (artificially created or not), and humanity was very interesting. One particular aspect I found very interesting was how the replicant characters seemed to have more humanity than the human characters, and how many of the human characters seemed to have completely disconnected from all moral standards.
"Social Media is broken. Can we fix it?"
Because I have a poor memory 😂
Apocalypse Now Redux Edition. The 4+ hour long version. Still one of the greatest movies ever made.
