Core VS Knots, it’s destroying Bitcoin:

This debate is showing a great flaw with BTC and crypto in general.

Sure, you can say this debate is just between nerds on something that’s not particularly important anyway.

But it shows an underlying thread that will be pulled on and only get worse.

Apparently MARA is driving the push for Knots. Maybe it’s good, maybe it’s not, I don’t know enough.

But what I do know is that as miners get bigger, and get more control, they’ll want to get more power and stay in control; government sized control.

And if a bunch of nerds can decide to change the code on their whim, and if that bunch of nerds turns into mainly just a few massive miners who control the hash, then the money isn’t immutable, it’s nerd control.

That’s not sound money.

The great blocksize wars of 2017 only made #BTC stronger and it showed BCash's worth... (which is almost nothing).

The Core V Knots is actually MARA driving the push for Core V30, not towards Knotts.

Unlike the Clown World ran by the Fiat system, debates & "wars" between Bitcoiners don't destroy Bitcoin. As history shows, it only strengthens it.
