It would be about 1,000 dollars of platinum so just money printing. Even if it were a trillion of platinum reserves it wouldn't even cover this years deficit. Think I'm done? Nope. We owe almost 32 trillion so it would only reduce National Debt by 1/32nd.

This whole house of cards cant end well, but at the same time, I cant see it ending at all. Here in Australia, we have had a massive bubble in housing for....well about 30 years. Not to the absurd levels of China, but a consistent "go fuck yourself" to anyone trying to get into the housing market. There SHOULD be a crash in housing, but I cant see it happening, to much government fuckery. And I'd bet all western nations are in exactly the same boat.
