#asknostr Looking for help getting my self verification to work. I created my JSON and htaccess files and placed them in my .well-known folder on my web server but I'm having no luck with it getting it to work correctly. I must be missing something or have something in the wrong place or labeled incorrectly. Any pointers would be appreciated!

Your NIP-05 needs to be _@thebitcoincreative.com on your profile. The file on your web server is fine.
Thanks! I’ve been messing with the names and I think you may have checked it while I was editing. I’ve tried matching them in all the ways possible and it still won’t show up for some reason.
I currently have the name field in the JSON and my profile setting to “_” and still nothing. I’ve also tried using the full name and it also won’t work.
Oh, the pubkey in the file is wrong. You used the npub but you actually need the hex format:

And then use the NIP-05 address I mentioned in my previous post.

Huh. Still no luck somehow. I think this is why I gave up last time as nothing seemed to work. Even have tried with other people servers without luck. Just doesn’t like me I guess! Really appreciate you helping though!
Your file is not formatted correctly. It’s missing a comma after } and before "relays".
