Made it through about 30 minutes of him and Marty Bent. Balaji is an idea repackager for sure, he’s whole ‘exit’ thing was supposedly profound but is a foundational American idea and why we have states rights.
No clue why anyone would want to listen to him for 4.5 hours.
I’ve listened to many of his podcast appearances and he seems like a guy who loves to read and learn and then goes around talking about what he learned, positioning his newly gained knowledge as some profound ideas.
He’s smart and entertaining, that’s about it.
Network states? Bullshit.
City coin? Bullshit.

💯 listening to him for 4 hours on TFTC was painful. He rambles on and on and is not precise or considered at all with his thinking. But he is entertaining in the same way doom scrolling on Twitter is entertaining. He appeals to the accelalerationist in is all who just wants the collapse to be over with already.
