The inability of people to debate Knots vs Core in a mature manner is impressive. All of a sudden people are throwing some of the worst insults around here on nostr. If you cannot make your case without insulting someone's mother or by suggesting they stick stuff up their anus, you're just noise. Uneducated, rude and annoying noise.

There are some really immature people on nostr. Thought the IQ levels and debating skills would be better. However, some people are pretty malicious and I do eventually enjoy saying fuck it and throwing an insult.

Bitcoin is fundamentally different from BSV in how it handles data and validation.
Bitcoin Core nodes donāt index or display inscription content by default. The data lives in witness space, and it takes external tools ā indexers ā to extract and view it.
Thereās also a real cost. Every inscription pays full fees, and Bitcoinās limited block size creates a natural barrier to abuse. Thatās a sharp contrast to BSVās near-zero-fee model that made spam cheap.
Nothing gets shown automatically. If someone inscribes something illegal, it doesnāt appear on your node or screen unless you go looking for it with specific tools.
Thatās why the CSAM concern is misleading. Bitcoin isnāt a content distribution network. Itās a ledger. What you see is entirely opt-in.

You cannot compare one with the other. BSV was an actual fork triggered by mempool spam later sold as the blockchain war. Knots vs Core is about mempool policies.
How does the status of the fork make any difference?
The shitcoins are a perfect test ground for bitcoin. When BSV opened up op_return limits, just like Core is about to do, more CSAM was uploaded to the network than before.
