Is anyone using Sparrow on Linux and using both air gapped and USB connected means of signing transactions? And as a terminal for talking to your Start9 node? How has the experience been? I’m setting up a new laptop on Ubuntu this week when it arrives. Transitioning away from Windows spyware. Thanks.

Sparrow on Linux works great for those.

If you want to be even safer - maybe overly so - or just test things out, you could make a Tails USB and try out Sparrow on that. It's Tor by default and amnesic. Reboot wipes everything.

Works flawlessly with sparrow, used it with air gapped and connected devices. Maybe you have to install udev rules before your device gets registered (can be done through sparrow).

Also no problem to use it as terminal via browser for your start9. You also can ssh into your start9

Curious on what type of laptop you are buying to install Ubuntu?

Sparrow works great with my Start9 node, however want to move away from Windows as well.

Dell Inspiron 15 3000 3520 12th Gen Intel i5-1235U 1TB SSD 16GB RAM 15.6-inch 1920x1080

Seems to meet the Ubuntu compatibility needs.

It’s a real maze trying and hoping to get the right rig for the purpose.
