Starting on January 19, 2025 Facebook's internal policy makers decided that Linux is malware and labelled groups associated with Linux as being "cybersecurity threats." Any posts mentioning DistroWatch and multiple groups associated with Linux and Linux discussions have either been shut down or had many of their posts removed. 🤡

I thought the people who built Nostr are the Linux community since it requires Linux knowledge.
Hmm... pretty sure we know about it.... hell you can install notedeck with yay notedeck.... oh, and i use arch btw,
unfortunately most linux peeps and devs are over on mastodon ..but even that wasn't enough for me to keep an account over there ..who knows if/when they will come to nostr ..i think it might just be better to build a fresh linux community here instead, that's more open to actual freedom
