One trait I’ve noticed amongst highly successful people is that they simply do not complain ever.

This is near universal.

Losers tend to whine and complain about not receiving what they think they deserve.

Winners go out and get what they deserve.

Positive mindset is everything! πŸ™Œ

Most successful people realize complaining doesn’t accomplish anything.

...that's because the smart folk see things as challenges rather than problems πŸŒ›πŸŒ•πŸŒœπŸ’‹

Good to know.

Preeeeeach!

only complain about the complainers

I have noticed the same with people who have made a lot more money than myself.

obvious that I am in need of some corrective attitude/thought pattern changes.

Very admirable to notice that in yourself. Very few do.

I think it’s about focus:

If you focus on negative things, negativity grows in your life. If you focus on the positive things, the good things grow.

Attention is like a watering can. What you point it to will grow 🌸

It’s also a really efficient way to live. To blame yourself and change is much easier to control than to blame others and try to control their choices

They look at a mirror for the source of their failure and out a window for the source of their success.

Complaining is admission of one's subservience to a situation. It's a way of expressing dislike for it (which is understandable), while implying that they are allowing themselves to become a slave to it.

Winners are never slaves, even when they're physically shackled. They witness the same undesired situation that the losers witness, but they accept that as their starting place, and move forward from there to improve that situation. In doing so, there is no room or time for complaining.

That would explain why I've never heard my boss complain about his business, but I have heard him complain about the government.

Complaining is the opposite of solving.

So true. And successful ppl learn from their mistakes/losses.

How come Elon Musk complains all the time then? 🀭

He only complains about cultural issues

Like Saylor has said. Go about your work cheerfully.

Wasted lots of my life complaining.

Being positive is a challenge for me but I continue to make the choice to be positive.

Keep Winning. πŸ’œβš‘οΈ

I recon it’s related to the larger problem with lack of self-respect and awareness.

The β€œlosers” who complain lack self-respect and ownership. They’ve mentally ceded control of their lives to the β€œuniverse” so they have everyone and everything to blame but themselves.

They tend to be constantly stressed and lose quality of life over things completely out of their control like news they see while doom scrolling. They’re also pulled every which way by their impulses depending on whatever random thought appears in their head minute by minute.

They also tend to lack discipline, heavily discount the future, and live everywhere but the present - tormented by regrets of the past or the abyss of the uncertain future.

The β€œwinners” are aware enough to recognize these destructive behaviors and do the opposite.

β€˜Losers whine about their best , winners go home and fuck the prom queen β€˜ …. Said which Scottish legend ?

β€œDon’t be overheard complaining… not even to yourself.”

- Marcus Aurelius

πŸ‘ to you, Sir.

Beautifully observed and stated.

That's the result of an internalized locus of control. They reject the victim identity, and internalize the victor identity.

But if they complain enough, they eventually get what they want

Yep, right up until theres no money left. Rome fell over for centuries. the USA will fail faster. Bitcoin.
