What if the strikes aren’t what everybody expects and in fact didn’t destroy anything. Potentially a diplomatic backdoor for all parties, can keep face. Trump can claim in front of Israel and neocons that he bombed. Iran can from now on play the same “nobody knows if we have nukes” card like Israel and Israel will be kept on their toes.

Sounds nice. That scenario could get Bibi to shut up with the WMD fear mongering, but I wouldn't put it past Israel to nuke themselves or the US for that matter.

That’s probably the most generous and best possible outcome, but I don’t think it will play out that way, unfortunately.

As there is basically no evidence of a strike I think this is a very realistic scenario.
