We aren't announcing TollGate yet, just sharing the website that nostr:npub12zpfs3yq7we83yvypgsrw5f88y2fv780c2kfs89ge5qk6q3sfm7spks880 is working on. We still have a few weeks of work before we can start testing with brave early adopters.. 🤣

Free as in freedom, not as in Beer.
Previously, the only way to connect with the internet was to identify yourself so that your ISP could invoice you.
TollGate operators don't need to know who you are, because you give them a voucher (e-cash) and you get internet in exchange. You can pay them with e-cash even though you don't have an internet connection yet.
