well that's why California is garbage and state and they have infringed on the constitution. No or cares so now California will continue to decline
I care... about California. The state politics are interesting to me... kinda.
But Americans being interested in foreign politics won't help California. It just won't.
I get where you're coming from, but foreign politics does affect california, and the rest of us, more than people realize. just like Trump's tariff policies for example. they're directly tied to foreign relations and trade deals which impact American jobs prices and even local industries.
if Americans don't pay attention to foreign politics, we risk electing leaders who make poor international decisions, like we've seen with the Biden administration. understanding global politics isn't a destruction it's actually key to putting America first and keeping States California strong
Well... akshually we have something called an electoral college here, so technically, my vote has no effect on elections.
California, for example, voted for Kamala in the presidential election, and I dont think its due to a lack of understanding foreign politics. Instead, I think majority of voters in the state identify with the socialist/fascist positions of Europe.
Obviously, they've been sold a bill of goods, but that's beside my point
My point is that the voters (me) is given 2 choices. With zero knowledge of foreign politics, the better of the two choices seemed clear. With even a narrow understanding of foreign politics, the waters seem to get murky.
Most politics are propaganda. Hard to read through and easy to get caught up in.
I prefer using my gut for my elections. Even if my vote doesn't count.
