Should zap comments be shown as normal replies to a note?

I am fine with them being like reactions as well, however replies to a note might give individual zaps more visibility, I’m not sure if that’s a good thing though.

For me personally, no. I like how #[2] did it on Amethyst and shows the total amount in the note

I like that idea. Not sure I want to have all zaps show up on my profile without my control. Keeping it to replies is a better solution

I would do them separately, meaning:
* You can simply comment
* You can zap with a comment
* You can simply zap
Also could be interesting to see number of zappers, not just the zap amount.

Comments on notes would be pretty sweet. Nice to see who zapped and what they said but wouldn’t want it to crowd my feed at first glance. Would skip metric count though

Would it be possible to reply directly to a zap? This could be a way of making some zaps visible, and it is a way of not turning the messages in zaps into a bulletin board.
I think they should be an encrypted DM to the receiver from the recieving wallet's npub.
If the sender is known, then link to their npub within the DM.
I don't want my wallet broadcasting unencrypted notes sent to me.
