You know, at the begining of the www it was exactly the same argument : the network is used for bad things by criminals.
About more than 20 years after what happen ?
criminals still communicate on network with telegram or other way, the dark web still exist. Any gov. decision haven't change anything on their dark activities. Just a little more "hiding" them from the newbies.
For BTC it is the same, because it can be used for bad reasons, they are making liberty killer law, that doesn't work for criminals at all, but work for every others (KYC, forbid mining,...).
If the laws really works, criminality wouldn't exist anymore. Because fiat system is over-watch, over-control... and criminals still exist in the fiat system.
So yes, it is true #Bitcoin is very useful, for the bad and for the good, and it will always stay this way, as was the fiat system no more no less.
But this time, the control with law will be much more harder. And it is a good thing because, laws are useless when it is about money.
