Good morning nostr, and happy Sunday. It's 52 F this morning, and thats chilly for this time of year, but it wont last. This morning we'll be heading to church, then the rest of the day is up in the air. I'll most likely work in the garden areas, then i need to find a couple more used IBC totes. I really like how the one in the chicken coop works, with the drip lines connected to it. Also need to find time to make more seed washer sets. All this while listening to some good bitcoin podcasts, so life is good. Yall have a great Sunday nostr friends, and remember that today is a gift, as none of us is promised tomorrow. #coffeechain #grownostr #homesteading #countrylife

Gm Maria, how far out do your drip lines go off the Ibc?
For this one, about 20 ft. First time i've messed with drip lines, always thought they were a pain in the but to work with. Plus i have no pressure pump, just gravity, but it actually works very well with just gravity. Will be adding a low-pressure timer to automate it.
I have 4 IBCs i want to stack them two high and use the pressure to go out ~200ft
Wow, let us know how that turns out. I was kinda surprised that the gravity works just fine for a drip system, cause i dont have a faucet near the chicken run. Its already saving me lots of time pulling hoses around. I put a hose splitter on the tote, one for the drip lines and one for another hose to water the chickens.
I pan on building a manifold using all four for pressure, full by my math i should get 15psi ish
