I don't know what I've done, but my lower left back is hurting really bad. Feels like a pinched nerve or a pulled muscle. Getting old and out of shape sucks. I really need to get on a better exercise regimen soon

I feel you there man. I have to do stretches often too.

I think stretching may help this so I'll keep it up. The pain was so bad yesterday I thought I was going to throw up.

a major factor in lower back pain is weak abdominal muscles, situps and leg lifts help a lot... start easy tho

i also have a standing desk for similar reasons too, i don't use it often but it's good for giving my core a bit of work, after about an hour i usually have to sit back down tho

Thanks for the helpful advice. I do need to do some sit ups for sure lol

Back pain (when its not clearly your spine) should always be addressed with strength conditioning and mobility training.

Focus on hi rep (body weight only) hyperextensions (3x of 20-25)

You can start deadlifting at a very moderate weight once those hypers are relatively easy with a 25lb plate on your chest.

6-8 week journey to a newfound mobility.

You will thank me.
