I think for me there are better ways to temporarily store a stash that have different risk profiles. It’s all a trade off.
The only thing that matters is that the government is not aware of how much bitcoin you have. If they do know that, then it doesn’t matter how secure your system is .. they’ll block all your access to any financial system and maybe put you in jail until you release the money
I assume it was the same with gold.. though now it is worst because the government has a lot more data about you

Any.. just assume the government will try to either size your money at some point directly or indirectly through taxes
This is why the Constitution has the 2A … to protect private property (against tyranny).
Constitution is useless peace of paper the moment a government decides to break the rules. I live in Argentina and I can tell with real life experiences that assuming constitution will protect you is wrong.

Unlike most (all?) other countries, there will be the risk of mortal cost to those enforcing any policy that goes against the Constitution in America.
It is part of the reason I am bullish on America long-term and excited to see sound money return to our foundational institutions outlined in the United States Constitution.
🇺🇸America as a nation-state will not only survive, it will thrive when we achieve hyperbitcoinization. It’ll look a lot different than it does today (sure!) but there will be government of the people, by the people, for the people once more.

Government has a lot of power .. military service also.. it’s not easy but is still possible. They can go impose bans and rules on you using gray areas of the constitution first
But yes, of course United States is safer .. but don’t give it for granted

There were countries during Nazi times that had all their records taken so Nazis would know who has the money, who is from what religion etc
