just struck me as odd how in HOI4 navy is basically useless except for naval invasion spam, or blockading an island nation

I feel like having 5 BBs offshore should be able to damage or at least cripple infantry, instead of just a debuff

COW battleships are great, unless the enemy has naval bombers, subs, or a counter navy they are screwed

only time i ever found navy interesting was as Japan doing a historical RP, i tried hoi3 recenty, the map looks really nice its a lot of new mechanics to learn tho
