A few of the people I follow could care less about posting Bitcoin stuff so check those out too! Some people think the more people you follow when you first start on Nostr the better ๐ because of a lack of algorithm.
Another thing some people believe is a good way to get started instead of mass following is to list down some of the things they are interested in, then maybe you can get some suggestions on hashtags or people to follow. Can find a lot of interesting stuff that way. Its also a great way to build out your โWeb of Trustโ with people that are interested and building the same things as you. Maybe just only start following off of those peoplesโ follow lists, and build out from there.
* Good clients for hashtag following are Amethyst and Damus.
This is a great source to get you started if you have questions about parts of the Nostr process. If you are not a fan, DONโT GIVE UP. At least try a different Client first. What client/clients are you currently using? Some popular ones I see that people use a lot are Amethyst, Damus, Primal, and Nostur, Openvibe/Plebstr. Itโs important to try and keep this alive and moving forward. Join us!

Once you do have a good handle on Nostr in general, this youtube vid will show you how to set up that lightning feature for payments if you are running Damus. The same thing applies to other lightning wallets as well if you donโt have or want or have access to Wallet of Satoshi
