Capitalism is the Natural Order.

You know what they called "capitalists" before the socialists invented the word?
Humans.
Do you think what we perceive as todays capitalism can be called capitalism? Because I don’t think so 🤔

I was wondering about that, thanks for sharing, nice article. 🙌🏼
Crony capitalism is a bit like fascism, I suppose.
It’s to messy out there for it to be only described with capitalism, depending on where you live it’ll be some kind of hybrid
Gate-keeping, slaving, monopolies and expropriation under threat of violence go back tens if not hundreds of thousands of years.
Its only the scale, anonymity and diversity of modern economies that gives us the potential to escape Socialism. Or be consumed by it. Every choice shapes outcomes.
Ist there any good -ist? Artist maybe?
I heard a rake recently, which says capitalism comes from capital, as in the all caps corporate fiction that is assigned to us at birth, rather than meaning free trade. Made sense
Capital is Latin for "head". It is a durable good that you can count as your own, and that can be used to gain other goods or services. It is property.
15 head of cattle
A shovel
A bag of silver coins
A sturdy wooden stick
A rifle
A machine
Some real estate
A barrel of whiskey
Intellectual property can also be capital.
So, if someone forces you to document your IP in some particular way or in some particular place, they can control your use of your IP.
So free trade in IP requires the ability to document as you wish.
We would have to use a p2p mesh network
