Does this require any changes on the zap receiver side. I assume it's using some encryption like nip 4

No changes required by receivers. Just some extra data in the 9734

How come my wife #[4]​ interface on Damus is glitched? Everything is all out of order. We have the same phone and mine is fine

Settings app -> Accessibility -> Display & Text Size -> Button Shapes. You have that turned on.
