This is an issue with most clients atm, i think only a few other clients do the q thing. Maybe the nip update will help.

It’s better than nothing but your message stays in a bubble and can be throttled by the state at any point in time they want to censor. They only let those reach any audience (even within their own bubble) if they have your payment/bank details and can track you down otherwise you are immediately shadow-banned and your comments can’t be seen by even the OP.
