How many nodes are there?

So there are no bitcoiners without running a node?

Um…. Yes?

If no one ran a node Bitcoin would literally cease to exist.

That’s ✅ correct, but not everyone needs to run a node right? It would be the most prudent thing to do, but there are more owners or bitcoin (bitcoiners) than people running a full node.

sure yeah it depends on your definition of "bitcoiner"

I was just making a provocative statement intended to suggest to the reader that they should use their own node and verifying their own transactions.

In that case we agree 👍, and running a node is easy, but requires some willingness to learn and do it

It’s hard for normal people

There is still A LOT of normal people that’s my point, that’s why WHAT BITCOIN TAUGHT ME exists. Please keep supporting us by sharing or zapping 🫵😉

A little more than 20,000 bitcoin nodes.
