With the release this week, now only the seed words are needed! At least for all balance related stuff. Metadata isnt backed up yet.
You have to Warn people they canβt restore a wallet with passphrase
I think you can as long as you have the seed phrase, since itβs not part of the backup. 
No you canβt if you set a passphrase. I think they removed that function.
But couldnβt you restore it with another wallet like sparrow?
Not if you have any lightning channels. Maybe another non custodial lightning wallet
This needs to be emphasized more, because people may not realize Lightning needs an active connection to work. You can always close your channels and restore the balance on-chain, but youβll need your seed phrase to access the funds.
