I've gone to one meet up and the guy hosting it didn't own any bitcoin. Susssss, so I never go anymore.

😂 facts. Some of the sketch ones will try to social engineer / hack you as well. Happened to me more than once. Comical. Finding the right community that wants the best for you individually and as a group is key. Sadly, Rare

That's exactly why I don't go to Bitcoin meetups. It's a weird catch-22. I want to talk to people IRL about Bitcoin... But I don't want anyone to know I have Bitcoin.
