Interesting...but given that "notes" (and other stuff) all goes through relays, how would Nostr keep those records private?
(I can see being able to validate the owner of a note, but not sure I'm connecting the dots on privacy...?)
Can someone school me a bit on this?
I think this would be a great idea...and could potentially get government out of your health care data...
Encryption + private relays.
Hmmm...so then the data would be encrypted prior to sending to the relay? (Or does someone need to run a special (private) relay?) Or both...("ecryption" - was pretty obvious once you said it 😃 )
I'd heard maybe 5 years ago China was working on decentralized health care records...not sure it ever got off the ground (but they didn't have Nostr then...)
This could solve a lot of problems in health care....
Everything will be saved in the patient's relay.
Running personal/private relays is one of the least understood things in Nostr. Maybe more accent should be given in showcasing the different approaches for private/public relays.
The Trojan Horse of Nostr is that everyone holds a private key that can be used as identification and encrypting data. Data can be stored by the customer on their own device or encrypted with multiple 3rd parties and released on a need to know basis.

Reminds me when we started to digitize all health records. Was all started for the solders over seas to have better care and doctors able to pull there health records anywhere in the world.
This is something I'd be keen to get involved with.
We're still struggling with fax machines in #Quebec #Canada. Also, we believe paperless means having everything on paper and pay someone to scan it. 🤦
If I say the word Nostr-HealthCare to them, their brain will bug for sure.🤷

We're more off in academia/engineering branch, but I like the focus on microapps. Seems more resilient, as it's a bit like microservices, and might prevent regressions.
Definitely interested! Both consultation services for healthcare professionals and end users are needed.
