There is a scammer trying to impersonate my inimitable wife.
This is a good reminder for everyone to check the NIP-05 ID! The real nostr:npub1hu3hdctm5nkzd8gslnyedfr5ddz3z547jqcl5j88g4fame2jd08qh6h8nh has Carla@nostrplebs.
Also the real Carla will definitely never DM you about your “crypto goals.”

That’s not how NIP05 IDs work. Yes, there will be impersonators. But their npubs won’t match the original npub’s NIP05 (e.g. only Carla has her npub tied to carla@nostrplebs.com)
Without prior knowledge it's impossible to know which nip05 is the right one though, I can create a carla@nostrverified or even my own domain
