That was a fun read. Not nearly as harsh as the title implies.

The author has the same reservations about Watts that I do. The man was brilliant, far ahead of his time... but he drank himself to death by his late 50s. Tragic really.

I have learned a lot from Watts, but by no means should his beliefs alone be utilized as a comprehensive worldview.

Utilizing his own theory, he was perfect. He expanded the conscioussness of millions, and then provided a powerful example of how not to make the same mistakes he did.
