🙋‍♀️ Small town youth sports politics have kept our kid out of it. They also practice and have games going on until 9 or after during the week and that's a deal breaker. Kid's bedtime has only recently gone from 7:30 to 8:30. But "muh sportsball" is such a huge thing here that he feels left out.

I have been wrestling with most of this. My youngest is happy to play, my eldest is a powerhouse but chooses not to go on travel teams cause “that's too much soccer” according to her. So it's a balance they are happy with.

It's so hard to find a balance, glad your kiddos have. Most of the kids I've asked if they're liking it say they wish it was over, lol. The toxic parents are definitely the problem.

Starting day for me is Wednesday, can I just say I wish it was over. I am in too deep & out of my comfort zone (yes I am coaching)

Good luck and my condolences. May the odds be ever in your favor 😂.
