The amount of adapters I have is obnoxious.
"Buy the dongles with the thinnest wires in the world they say, it'll solve your problems" when you're out $100 because The USB-C hub was designed poorly.
I just want to understand why we collectively just keep being f*cked by apple and no one says anything , what kinda sorcery they did to us

The ARM MBP variants are a bit better… But yes, aside from the port selection, everything is soldered, RAM, SSDs, everything! Basically zero repairability. Speakinf of this. We need to get Louis Rossmann onto proper social media.

USB c is nice. It also can connect everything.
Most of those are redundant now that we have USB 3. The network port would be useful, but I guess most people just suffer with wireless now. It really sucks that they don't include a headphone jack, though. As much as Apple tries to be a company for 'creatives,' this move is baffling. The only way to get audio out is over shitty bluetooth. That means it's always compressed and distorted, and therefore completely useless for professional work. Oh, but there's lossless Bluetooth now? Sure, it exists, but you can't actually use it if you have WIFI or any other Bluetooth accessories.

I miss these ports but some of them will literally make the height too big, so they have to be replaced by one of those multi-adapters instead.

Nice, I didn't even realize we had a pile of Fischer Price computers kicking around, but anyone willing to take away that Apple garbage without even charging for it is all right in my book.
