I looked at your profile and you might want to use hashtags more, and most of the hashtags I see you are using is btc related which is great, but Nostr is flooded with btc content so I don’t think a lot of people follow related hashtags

-Make friendships with bigger account that are really similar and boost each other
-99% of your posts should be thoughtful replies until you have 300+ followers
Repost with quote feature your beat replies so they go to all your followers.

I think we are used to massive user bases on legacy apps but most of that base is fake and always has been.
I think folks expect others to care more about their nonsense than is reasonable. Find joy speaking into the void.. only way to not fail victim to the “influencer” trap. Be genuine.

I like to think of myself as an independent thinker.. and then I heard your summary of Twitter vs Nostr on Preston’s podcast. Very well put! I’m sad that I didn’t think beyond: Elon says free speech is good, subscribe to support his movement.
1. Trying to post daily or multiple times a day. Approximately 0 engagement on most posts.
2. I like and zap many other posts.
Is there a trick that’s different than “be less boring”?
Maybe the ceo of NOSTR is shadow banning me. Good news: not here as a nym to get popular. Just supporting freedom tech. Keep putting out the content!
Nostr doesn’t use algos or anything to encourage engagement.
I started posting a month ago and I spend 99% of my time replying to other people’s posts to encourage them to follow me.
-Without followers, you’re literally using nostr like a journal.
-Make friends with some bigger accts.
-Ask and encourage people to repost your notes.
-Zap replies to encouraging people to engage your notes.
-Focus on active users. 99% of the users here disappear for the same reasons you outlined.
Its a different place here but the quality of the users here is top notch.
Use tools to connect with other new users. Etc etc etc
Be creative.

Awe you are sweet. I already ordered one. I was really struggling with making a purchasing decision and it took me a long time which is why I was inquiring to potentially release my research pressure. The blue yeti was definitely one I looked into. But I went with something else just a couple days ago. A sweet nostritch directed me toward this choice. I went with the updated version. I hope it fills all my nomadic needs. It should supposedly work for phone, camera and computer. I needed it to be compact. I can't wait to get it.
