One thing holding Nostr back from further growth is nobody on this network is funny (outside of nostr:npub1jk9h2jsa8hjmtm9qlcca942473gnyhuynz5rmgve0dlu6hpeazxqc3lqz7, in his own way). Everyone I know who loves Instagram/TikTok/Twitter are laughing at their phones. They want to feel joy. I do not feel joy using Nostr
Recently at a funeral, people were going up to share their stories and such. The son was also up there giving his thanks to each person.
An older gentleman went up and said "I don't have much to say. Just a word." He paused and took a breath.
"Plethora."
"Thank you," said the son. "That means a lot."
