I have been making so many typos lately.

I assume people know what I meant.

#asknostr is it better to correct typos with a reply or should I continue to expect people to decipher it themselves?

I'm genuinely curious about people's opinions on this.

I'll put more effort into proofreading because replying to myself to correct a typo feels like it would make the threads more confusing to read anyway.

If a typo literally changes the meaning of what you are saying, then a correction or repost might be useful, maybe a reply on the original saying "ignore this, go to this one instead".

If the typo doesn't significantly change the meaning or context of your reply and it's obvious, we all speak thumb.

I just delete and repost

How do you delete a note? I thought they were permanent

Most clients support delete as a function. It's up to the relays and other people's clients whether to honor your delete request or not, so far they all do. But nothing can stop someone from saving a copy. It's a convenience, not a guarantee.

Good to know thankyou
