Imagine how many human hours are spent dropping off and picking up children at public schools.
I'm sitting in traffic right now with a bunch of parents trying to pick up their kids. It's a long line.

Ooof you gave me a flashback 😅
I see those all the time. It definitely looks like it sucks
Worst traffic jams ever.
I got caught in school pickup traffic yesterday.
It's insane.
When my wife taught she loved pick up line duty. Constantly telling moms to keep moving, kids to stop talking and get in, be ready or go around again. Did it all with a smile and love of kids, just respected their time. Probably saved several lifetimes worth of cumulative parent hours😁
I'm glad she could find the joy in it
I live across the street from a school and it often becomes a vortex.
This is the kind of systemic inefficiency that becomes visible once you start valuing your own time properly.
