I thought we wanted to defund the State, not the devs.
The developers should live off their satoshis as its purchasing power increases. This would make it easier for people to contribute to software development.
The new Devs are so poor now, they want to turn it into ETH to make some money. (Of course bitcoin isn't money to them, it's just a store of value use case).

i do not know of any protocol devs that received funding from citrea, and i know for sure none of them cofounded citrea.
if your goal is to have all protocol devs launch vc funded businesses then be honest about it.
Lmaol, my point obviously is that you count ocean's funding as luke's personal gain, where ocean is a very much selfless project purely for the increase of decentralization in mining (super much needed for bitcoin to succeed), while on the other hand you dont see citrea funding as a personal gain for the co-founding core devs eventhough it is a much more for profit enterprise than ocean is....

I am not sure if I remember correctly but he said in the past that he doesn't need funding for Knots but other knots devs (who are not compromised & commie) might need funding.

BTC's dominance over other cryptos is 100% a social, not technological, effect. That effect will wear off, but when? Not likely anytime soon as it is being co-opted by the trad-fi community.
