heard saylor say posting your wallet is risky. that’s one of the dumbest takes i’ve ever heard on bitcoin security. posting your address doesn’t add any new risk. the blockchain is public, all addresses and balances are already out there. if someone wants to steal your bitcoin (which they can’t just from public info), they don’t need your name. no hacker’s out here saying “oh this one’s saylor’s, now i care.” they already have access to all of it. they don’t give a shit who you are. try coming up with a better and less brain-dead excuse.

He's one of the greatest bull shitters of our time.

a man of Greed.

need to instill fear, else the rest of us can buy more.

Yes 💪 nice to meet you 😉🤝

I don't know the exact Saylor quote but associating your name with your wallet hurts privacy and could open you up to wrench attacks, no?

the world already knows who you are and what you hold. you’re the chairman of a public company. this isn’t like walking into a bar wearing a bitcoin t-shirt.

saylor said proof of reserves is a bad idea except his stated reason is nonsense. you don't need to doxx your address to prove you hold bitcoin. that's what zero knowledge proofs were invented for.

saylor is either lying or retarded, i'm not sure which. either way you should not pay heed to anything the man says

Go wrench attack these guys in Japan

Saylor already claims he has these coins. That's enough for anyone dumb enough to go at him with a wrench.

Agree and it’s this sort of thing that deters uptake. People get the impression you have live in fear if you have Bitcoin because it’s so spammy or weird internet money. They can’t get past that to see the cold storage and lightning benefits so they don’t see freedom money

Yes 💪 nice to meet you 😉🤝

Hmmm but if I see an address with loads of corn on it, and I wanna steal it, it helps to know who controls the private key… 🤔

I see him a little in difficulty. Isn't it that he's hiding something? 🤔

🙋‍♀️ would a small business posting their wallet address(es) become a target?

yes and i absolutely wouldn’t recommend that. if you’re not a public company with btc holdings, you shouldn’t share anything publicly.

😳 Oh, then if I am going to start a small business and want to accept crypto, what do I do?

(Thanks for getting back to me BTW)

I’d recommend to look into nostr:nprofile1qqs22d4tralncqfnh2kmmarjkxk8449hwnk5xtqe3y5yry6hy7ytegqpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhszrthwden5te0vfexytnfduhsj4z384 if you’re planning to accept payments online.

Thank you. I will do.
