Resetting my circadian rhythm after a week in Riga with early morning sun exposure and a proper ocean dip. I feel awesome right now.

Enjoy it while you can. Expect things to ramp up exponentially after Labor Day.

Workwise you mean? Because people are returning from holidays?

This looks amazing!

Assuming you're on the east coast you need evening sun exposure. Early morning sunshine might push your circadian clock in the wrong direction, though for this six hour difference it's probably not a big deal.

Morning #sunshine is critical to health.

Oh I stared straight into the sunset last night when I got in. Slept like a baby.

Nice! The anti-jetlag heuristic I use:

1. Find out when your body thinks it's the middle of the night; e.g. if you usually sleep from 00:00 to 08:00, then that's 4am in the origin timezone

2. Get lots of sun expose in the ~4 hours before or after that, depending on which direction you want to push your circadian clock. So when flying from EU to New York, that's between 6pm and 10pm.

3. Rinse and repeat the next day, shifted by one hour (e.g. 7pm to 1am)

You should turn this into a simple app for the right brain hemisphere dominant people 😁

There's already a bunch of apps afaik, even ones that take melatonin and caffeine into account.

Thank. Will look into it.

Just another government lie, telling us not to stare directly into the Sun.

Wen braille Nostr client?

LOL!

😯 Sounds like an awesome morning routine. Do you work remotely at the moment?

Are there any chemtrails in Riga? If yes then you are probably not getting full sun exposure.

Did u sun your 🏀 ?

This is the way brother 🫡

Grab the longboard!

Well done
