What are you currently teaching your kids to prepare them for real life?

Lots of things on my end, but my 12 and 14 year olds got CPR certified today. #grownostr #parenting #kids

I wish I had the opportunities to learn that my kids do when I was young. My kids 8 and 3 have their own gardens to take care of. My 8 year old is learning software development with scratch. We are fortunate to home school them so they learn all kinda stuff most kids don't 😄 #grownostr

Wow! That is awesome. I do struggle trying to get my kids to want to garden. When we have chickens, they tend to take care of them the majority of the time.

I haven’t gotten any of them into coding, but I’ve thought about it.

I let them pick it their own plants and seeds to grow. It gets then really excited to have some control over it
