Habla.news doesn't let you post long form articles yet (with all respect nostr:npub107jk7htfv243u0x5ynn43scq9wrxtaasmrwwa8lfu2ydwag6cx2quqncxg, the "This feature is coming soonᵀᴹ" when clicking to write feels like I'm being taken hostage to post, since it was already a working feature before)

Yakihonne freezes upon submitting (Ultimately Yakihonne was able to publish, so TY)

Highlighter has a clicking issue where I'm not allowed place any text entry until I superstitiously click around and then I'm allowed to place text into the title and body.

Clicking publish - "Your article has been published!" ✨

Narrator: The article was not published

.... and so we try again

No sane person will spend 2 hours trying to upload an article precariously clicking around to not change the screen and have to start all over.

Fortunately for nostr, nostr:npub1zvu0wuq4rf5839sangchz8h7rq6ejp22zhvn8sncwc3eaq987qds66w2ya and I are clearly not sane people.

You are 100% right, I've handled this very poorly. I'll have some time during this weekend so maybe I can deploy the old and redirect /write there for the time being.

I know it's no excuse but I'm very busy and going through a lot in my personal life rn. Barely have time or energy for open source.

For what it's worth, the new layout is beautiful, and having no feature is better than having a broken one. Maybe that message just needs a little tweaking.

https://makimono.lumilumi.app then edit to add keywords with https://untype.app ... but always hit "new" before you do anything in untype.

Thats my current fallback plan for when Yakihonne doesn't cooperate. (which hasn't happened since I switched to a different signing extension)

But yes, I think the whole writing ecosystem is currently in flux, but it's better than it was a few months ago when everything was languishing.

I miss habla.news. It took a while for the editor to get stable, but it eventually got good enough that I was confident enough to draft my posts directly in habla. I'm afraid it will take a while for the new editor to reach the same level of stability. It does look nice though.
