Do whatever you want, no-one owns nostr more than anyone else. Personally I love to watch someone build in realtime with the community. It has been fun watching Damus, Astral, MoreSpeech etc come to life and I hope more devs follow that path.

I hope for some consolidation.

With #[5]'s recent progress on Astral I'm not sure me starting work on [Nostroid](https://github.com/Giszmo/nostroid) was for the best of nostr but Nostroid is making good progress, too.

PSA: If you want to get around Astral's message size limitation without patching the code, click anywhere inside the message. This confuses the size counter sufficiently to enable the send button. Sending the message now works.
